Canada Shipping Options
We ship to Canada via UPS Standard only. Jewelry is one of several articles that are restricted by Canadian mail, unless shipped by insured, First Class registered mail. This method takes 3-4 weeks for delivery, which is unacceptable by most customers. Therefore we only offer UPS.
UPS Transit time is typically 5 to 10 days. Transit time may be impacted by Customs delays and holiday volume.
Please note that transit time does not include the time it takes to craft your ring. We typically craft and ship your ring within 8 to 12 days.
Canadian Shipping Address:
We will only accept orders where the registered Card Address is entered for both the Billing address and Delivery address. We will not ship to a different delivery address.
Canadian Customs-related Fees:
UPS Fees
UPS Standard to Canada is $26. In addition, you are responsible for paying all Customs-related fees and charges which
include duties, taxes and customs brokerage charges.
UPS Customs Brokerage charges are not included in the UPS Standard to Canada shipping charge, but will be assessed to the customer by UPS in order for the package to be released from Customs. This charge can range up to 29% of the value of the ring.
Other charges may include Canadian Goods and Services tax (GST), the Canadian Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), and Provincial sales taxes (PST). For more information on UPS Customs Clearance Rates, visit www.ups.com/content/ca/en/shipping/cost/zones/customs_clearance.html
Payment of Fees
All Customs-related fees and charges which include duties, taxes and customs brokerage charges due at the time of delivery are the customer's responsibility.
If you refuse the package and do not pay the fees due, the carrier will return the package to Cascadia Design Studio. The total amount of fees due, plus any return shipping the carrier charges us, will be deducted from your refund.
Shipment Tracking, Lost Shipments, and Undeliverable Shipments
Packages that are undeliverable for any reason (wrong address provided, delivery not accepted, adult not available to sign for package, etc) are not eligible for refund. Packages returned to Cascadia Design Studio as undeliverable can be re-shipped, if requested, at customer expense.
Return Shipping
Customer will be responsible for proper packaging, and shipping plus insurance charges to return a ring to Cascadia Design Studio. Customer assumes risks for loss or damage of contents while in transit to Cascadia Design Studio.
Exchanged or re-worked rings sent by Cascadia Design Studio are shipped via First Class Mail.
