US Shipping Methods
We provide free shipping and handling to U.S. and APO/FPO destinations via Priority Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation. We will notify you via email when your ring ships. Allow 2 to 5 business days transit time for Priority Mail.
US customers may upgrade to FedEx Overnight, 2-day or 3-day delivery to within the continental United States during checkout. Note that FedEx does not ship to PO, APO or FPO boxes, nor deliver on non-business days. Please note that choosing FedEx reduces transit time, but not the time it takes to craft your ring.
Credit cards and shipping addresses- A request to ship to an address that is not the credit card billing address may require additional verification. To make verification easier, please contact your card company (look for a toll free number on the card) and add the desired address to your account.
We typically craft and ship your ring within five to nine business days.
Canada Shipping Methods
We ship to Canada via UPS Standard or FedEx International Priority®.
UPS Transit time is typically 4 business days. Transit time may be impacted by Customs delays and holiday volume.
Canadian customers may upgrade to FedEx International Priority® during checkout. FedEx International Priority® packages have a typicical three business day transit time. Transit time may be impacted by Customs delays and holiday volume.
Please note that transit time does not include the time it takes to craft your ring. We typically craft and ship your ring within five to nine business days.
Canadian Customs-related Fees:
UPS Fees
You are responsible for paying all Customs-related fees and charges which
include duties, taxes and customs brokerage charges.
UPS Customs Brokerage charges are not included in the UPS Standard to Canada shipping charge, but will be assessed to the customer by UPS in order for the package to be released from Customs. This charge can range from $20 to $40 depending on the value of the ring.
Other charges may include Canadian Goods and Services tax (GST), the Canadian Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), and Provincial sales taxes (PST). For more information on UPS Customs Clearance Rates, visit www.ups.com/content/ca/en/shipping/cost/zones/customs_clearance.html
FedEx Fees
Canadian orders are subject Canadian Goods and Services tax (GST), the Canadian Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), and Provincial sales taxes (PST), paid by Federal Express
when going through customs. The buyer will reimburse Federal Express for these taxes upon delivery. For more information on FedEx fees, visit www.FedEx.com
Payment of Fees
All Customs-related fees and charges which include duties, taxes and customs brokerage charges due at the time of delivery are the customer's responsibility.
If you refuse the package and do not pay the fees due, the carrier will return the package to Cascadia Design Studio. The total amount of fees due, plus any return shipping the carrier charges us, will be deducted from your refund.
Shipment Tracking and Lost Shipments
Priority Mail is sent with a unique Delivery Confirmation bar code that is scanned by your postal carrier upon delivery. The delivery date and location is then posted in the tracking section at www.usps.com. Cascadia Design Studio is not responsible for loss of packages after the USPS postal carrier confirms delivery.
If you do not have a locking mailbox, or require complete tracking from shipment to arrival, we recommend you upgrade shipping to FedEx for added security and tracking.
We ship FedEx packages with "signature required". For your protection against loss we recommend you do not have a signature release waiver on file with FedEx. If you have a signature release on file, FedEx will leave your package on the doorstep. If you have a “signature on file” agreement with FedEx, neither Cascadia Design Studio nor FedEx will be responsible for the loss of any package delivered without a signature.
Cascadia Design Studio is not responsible for loss of packages after FedEx confirms delivery.
Return Shipping
Customer will be responsible for proper packaging, and shipping plus insurance charges to return a ring to Cascadia Design Studio. Customer assumes risks for loss or damage of contents while in transit to Cascadia Design Studio.
Exchanged or re-worked rings sent by Cascadia Design Studio are shipped via First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation.
