The anodized finish is applied to protected, recessed areas of the titanium ring where sharp objects can't scratch the surface.
Because anodized titanium colors are optically created you will see differences in the shade and intensity depending on lighting conditions.
The natural color of titanium is a cool silver-gray, darker than silver or white gold. Its tone is comparable to platinum, but with a slightly darker complexion.
