Discover Titanium

Titanium is a natural element that was not refined until the twentieth century. Its natural color is cool silver-gray, darker and deeper than silver or white gold. Polished, its tone is comparable to platinum, with a slightly darker complexion.

Titanium is a performance metal, first utilized by the aerospace industry for its high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance and durability. The medical field uses it for surgical implants due to its strength and hypoallergenic properties. These benefits have also made titanium popular for consumer products ranging from golf clubs to bicycles to laptop computer cases. It’s now a favorite for jewelry, watches, eyeglass frames and wedding rings.

Cascadia uses the two most common grades of titanium: Aerospace Grade 5 (Ti 6Al/4V alloy) for most rings and the Commercially Pure (CP Grade 2) for hammered finish rings. Either grade makes an attractive, lightweight, extremely durable ring.
